Have you seen all the changes?

One of the things I love most about Maryland is that we experience all four seasons; and yes, sometimes its seems like we have several seasons in one day! I don’t know about you, but I find myself embracing each one.

From the vibrant flower gardens and horse races that usher in spring, we transition to farmers markets and beach bound traffic that define the summer. When we return it’s the crisp air of football season and pumpkin-spiced-everything that is autumn. Then, after the frenzy of the holidays, we curl up with blankets and hot tea hoping for more snow days in winter.

I love embracing all those seasonal transitions in the shop. This month we launched our “sweater weather” line up with new products to help you soothe your sun soaked skin, try a new recipe, change out your pillows (and artwork) for a new view and grow your indoor plant family. When you stop by, take a look at the sign in the front window, I could not be happier with the dynamic collection of artists and makers that are featured this season.

As many of you know, I’ve been thinking of ways to show our appreciation for our customers! Starting September 22 (the official first day of Autumn) we’re inviting you to MAKE20 at Taken.
